ASA Manhattan Men's Basketball proudly welcomes Terrell Amparado to its Coaching Staff and Family.  Coach King, "I am excited to have Coach Amparado as part of our coaching staff.  He brings a wealth of excitement and understanding which is crucial to our program."

With this being Coach Amparado's first foray as a College Basketball Coach all should take note that this is not his first experience in college athletics.  As a Graduate from St. John's University, with a BA in Sports Management, Coach Amparado, was also a practice player for the Men's Basketball Program in 2005. Coach Amparado also interned with the St. John's Athletic Department and the Big East Conference for their Big East Tournament.

Coach Amparado started his coaching career at St. Vincent's DePaul CYO Program in Long Island.  This led to coaching for the NxLevel AAU team of NxGeneration Athletics. From there Coach Amparado became the High School basketball coach and Athletic Director at EPIC High School for 3 years. Amparado's main focus at Epic was to implement the scholar-athlete initiative, "More Than Just A Game."

Coach Amparado currently is employed as a student advisor at New Visions Charter School, while performing fitness and basketball training sessions for student-athletes, professional athletes and adults, under his own business, Build An Athlete. Coach Amparado is currently pursuing his MS in Psychology at University of Phoenix.
